One more step towards internationalisation! The website of our Vice-Rectorate for Research (VRI) now has an English version. This will allow a wider dissemination of PUCP's research contributions, capacity and potential to a wider and more diverse audience around the world.

With a dynamic and modern design, the VRI's new virtual space in English - developed in collaboration with the Directorate of Institutional Communication - presents general institutional information about the mission, objectives, achievements and infrastructure; and includes news of interest about the work and achievements of our researchers and research groups.

"We have a very powerful research capacity that needs to be made visible to the international academic community. One of the great benefits of this platform in English will be to generate new collaborative networks with universities and academics from other regions".

Dr. Aldo Panfichi, Vice-Rector of Research PUCP

"A website in English is a very important instrument for the internationalisation of research at our university. We have a very strong research capacity that needs to be made visible to the international academic community. One of the great benefits of this platform in English, in addition to the recognition of our work, will be to generate new collaborative networks with universities and academics from other regions, such as Asia and Europe," said Dr Aldo Panfichi, vice-rector for research.

According to Dr Panfichi, the new website will allow access to more opportunities to fund research projects carried out in collaboration with other institutions abroad. "The research funding provided by the state is still insufficient on an international scale. Collaborative research by several universities will add specialists and resources to this work, a strategy that is currently developing very strongly in the world," he added.

Constant updating

The implementation of this space in English is the first step of a VRI strategy to enhance the dissemination of our University's research work on the Internet. The website has a team and a translator to update the contents continuously. In the future, it is planned to host information about the VRI in other languages as well.
