After two years, the University CADE will once again be face-to-face. Its 27th edition will be held at the Naval School of Peru, from 29 June to 1 July. Here, thirteen PUCP students will represent us in a meeting that encourages young leaders from different parts of Peru to act and contribute to the development of our country.
The purpose of this meeting is to be a space for reflection, inspiration and action for more than 400 Peruvian students from all our regions and from different disciplines. The proposed formula seeks to generate a better understanding of our reality, connecting these students with leaders from different generations.
Our thirteen representatives, who occupy the top positions in their respective specialities, were invited by our Directorate of Student Affairs, through the Office of Student Initiatives (OIE), to represent PUCP at this meeting organised by IPAE.
They belong to nine different faculties and are in the final stages of their studies. They have participated in specific training and workshops in various sectors and areas of knowledge. Many have had to find space between classes and internships, but the rewards, they say, have been worth it.
After two years, the 27th edition of CADE Universitario will be entirely face-to-face, with the slogan "Your progress is my progress".
There will be three thematic axes. Firstly, reflection for collaboration, a space to understand how we Peruvians are today and how we arrived after two years of the pandemic. There will also be inspiration for action, in which young participants will learn about the contributions of various Peruvian men and women. Finally, there is "Let's take action! where solutions and contributions to society are sought.
Throughout the event, young people will have the opportunity to participate in TED-style presentations, panels, workshops, dialogue spaces with leaders from different generations, the CADE University challenge, among other dynamics. In total, 18 exhibition sessions will be held.
In addition, the forum has scheduled conferences with world-renowned speakers and panellists. Jorge Yamamoto, social psychologist and senior lecturer at PUCP; Gonzalo Galdos, president of IPAE; Paola del Carpio, research coordinator at the Red de Estudios para el Desarrollo (Redes); Cecilia Bákula, historian and university professor; Álvaro Henzler, executive director of Mosaico Lab Creativo; Julia Torreblanca, vice-president of Corporate Affairs at Minera Cerro Verde and president of Comex; among other leading professionals, will participate in this edition.
