Thus, on 8 September, the dean received the letter of accreditation agreements, and the decision to accredit the Early Childhood Education and Primary Education programmes was announced. These agreements adopted during the recent session of the Academic Council of the IAC-Cinda reflect the pronouncement of the council and summarise the main observations of the institute.

"Re-accreditation impacts our work with early childhood because it represents a challenge to ensure the training of innovative teachers, knowledgeable about the reality that children and their families live, facing problems with creativity and a critical eye to propose solutions to complex problems," says Carmen Sandoval, director of the Early Childhood Education Specialty.

Sylvana Valdivia, director of the Specialisation in Primary Education, says: "This achievement has been the result of the committed participation of teachers, students, administrative staff, graduates and employers throughout the evaluation process. In particular, it is worth highlighting the enthusiasm of the students, who have recognised the relevance of re-accreditation for the recognition of the course in society".

Both specialisations have been re-accredited for a period of five years, which ends on 31 May 2026. It should be noted that the Secondary Education specialisation did not apply for this process, as it is not yet eligible.

"This accreditation puts us in a showcase to achieve partnerships with other institutions, and thus provide the opportunity to mobilise students, graduates and teachers in academic exchange activities, internships, research, innovation projects, joint work, national and international presence," concluded the dean of Education.
