PUCP is ranked 13th in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Latin America 2023 ranking and in the top 3% of all Latin American universities. In this way, we reaffirm our commitment to provide world-class education and research at the service of our country.

Our University maintains its national leadership in the QS Latin America University Rankings 2023 and its best historical position. PUCP ranks 13th out of 428 universities in the region and is the No. 1 of the 22 listed in Peru. This places us in the top 3% of Latin American higher education institutions.

In this edition, PUCP reached 80.4 points out of a possible 100. Thus, our University consolidates a total advance of 12 positions with respect to 2018, when we occupied the 25th position.

QS Latin America Rankings: PUCP performance

The QS Latin America University ranking evaluates the conditions necessary for quality education. For this, in addition to analyzing standardized data, QS conducts surveys of academic reputation and among employers. In these 6 years of participation, PUCP has been promoted 4 times and has not presented negative performances.

The most important indicator (30% of the weighted score) is academic reputation; here we are ranked 11th with a score of 95.3. The recognition that our research has among academics in Peru and abroad is evaluated; QS measures this through a survey (Academic Survey) answered by experts identified in the region.
